I am running for Public School Board Trustee because I believe in strengthening the foundation of our education system and ensuring that every student, teacher, and staff member has the tools they need to succeed. My priorities focus on three key areas:
1. Continuity in the Classroom
Every classroom should be a place of pride that promotes learning. Teachers and support staff already carry the heavy responsibility of delivering curriculum and meeting diverse student needs. They should not also be burdened by outdated expectations around organization and housekeeping.
I will advocate for safe, healthy, and fully functional learning spaces equipped with modern resources—furniture, supplies, and technology—that reflect the Calgary Board of Education’s commitment to excellence.
2. Student Success
All students deserve an education that meets them where they are and helps them grow. This begins with a safe, inclusive environment where belonging, leadership, and community are emphasized.
I believe strongly in the value of arts, culture, and sports in our schools. These programs inspire creativity, build confidence, and foster teamwork—skills that create engaged citizens and lifelong learners. Supporting these opportunities alongside strong academics will give students the foundation they need for future success.
3. Workplace Wellness
Our schools are more than learning spaces, they are workplaces for highly skilled professionals, many with advanced degrees and specialized training. These educators deserve an environment that promotes wellness, collaboration, and professional growth.
I am committed to:
* Advocating for smaller class sizes
* Increasing support staff where needed
* Building in more prep time for educators
* Creating healthier, more sustainable work environments
Why This Matters
Over the past decade, classrooms have undergone fundamental changes. The commitment to inclusion and the growing number of students have placed unprecedented pressures on our education system. Staffing shortages and unfilled substitute positions are becoming the norm, putting additional stress on educators and impacting student learning.
Our School Board has a responsibility to address these challenges before they reach a breaking point. It is time to prioritize the people and families at the heart of public education.

As office manager, accounts manager and special events manager with Visionworks Commercial Productions, I connected with most producers and productions in YYC at the time. This experience allowed me to have a complex understanding of the screen industry as a whole and the importance of communications as an important business tool.

Screen & Actor - Biography
I began my acting career at the age of 10 and have been dedicated to performance ever since. I trained extensively as a full-time drama student throughout junior and senior high school, developing skills both on stage and behind the scenes. At 15, I made my film debut in Rad, and later expanded my career to include modelling as a teenager and young adult.
My on-screen experience is diverse, including work with animals such as police dogs, stage canines, and personal pets, as well as specialized driving roles. I have appeared in film, television, commercials, print, and online media, with credits ranging from SOC and background to featured performance roles. As a performer, I have modelled for runway, photography, hair, and makeup, and have contributed to projects spanning commercials, PSAs, movies of the week, webisodes, and development DVDs.
Beyond acting, I have a background in music and dance, having performed in concert and show choirs, voiceover recordings, radio, parades, and flash mobs. I am skilled in a range of acting styles, from comedic to dramatic, and trained in both method and classical theatre. In addition to performing, I bring experience in producing, directing, and scriptwriting.
I am passionate about storytelling and always eager to take on new creative challenges that push me to grow as an artist.
